Thoughts Midori Traveler's Notebook

I love this notebook so much. I can't bare to go about without taking it with me or I'll miss it. Yes, I'll admit, it may come off a little drag to carry me personal malden with me along with this new addition, however, I just simply cannot leave this at home.

The truth is, I have not written in it at all just yet. I love the idea of keeping it as a sketch book. It's plain and simple and that's what I adore most about having a midori. The problem is is that I cannot figure out what to write in it just yet. What to exactly use it for. I want the first page to be perfect. I find myself stalling with filling it up. I would love to use it as a planner, but what about my personal filofax? What about my love for filofax? I watch so many MTN youtube videos. I don't travel much at all. The only plans I have is my going to Europe possibly this year or the next. Perhaps then I will have it filled up a bit. but for now I am still procrastinating with beginning any type of writing ideas for the book.

Week 19

In a very humorous way. My boyfriend pretty much lectured me this morning on how to properly use my filofax. He told me I needed to put more detail about our day. He wanted me to write down and be more specific with what I do during the day. In his own worlds, "You should be writing that you cooked me breakfast this morning, that we ate together, I cooked and pack myself lunch while you relaxed and watch television .."

My jaws dropped! I did not know how to respond! The first thing I suggested was .. Do you think I should put more stickers? Lol!!

So here it is.. a bit more effort into decorating :) I also been reading philofaxy suggestions to making my blog appear more interesting for views. so I decided to take a photo and give you all hints and tips on what I used.

That's about it.

Thanks.

Week 18

Pretty plain... Just wanted to test my new coleto gel ink. See how I feel about this layout. I read a post on Facebook that pretty much sums up my situation:

I spend so much time looking at others' decorated pages and planners. When I look at my planner and I get nothing! One moment, I'm motivated to have an extra kawaii planner...and when I finally sit and look at my planner; im just lost !

have no idea why the pages are crumbled like that ...

On another note:

I won a washi tape giveaway! It's my first giveaway I've ever won!

Thank you Janel B !!

And thanks all!

Week 17

I did not wish to use washi tape at all this week. Wanted to get a feel for what it was like again to be plain and simple, whether I will like it or not. I wanted to be more resourceful in ways where I don't end up bulking up Olivia. Simply using the inserts as is with a pink color pencil.

Did I mention how bummed out I am about my malden's pen loop?

Thanks

Week 16

Hi everybody so this is week 16. I decided to try and go easy with the washi tape. I'm starting to lack creativity and find that the more washi tape I cut and add the more stuff my original will be and this strap issues will occur. Where for example, the planner tend to overstuff easily and results to difficulty closing the organiser as a whole.

On another note, my first jetpens order came in. I put it to use for the first time  since receiving it two days ago.

I am sad that my newly purchased coleto pen does not fit in my malden pen loop. So sad :( .

Also, on Friday i received my first online washi tape purchases from Signapore! Will update you guys tomorrow about it. I promise!
